The UTILE project was presented at the XII National Congress of R&D in Defence and Security (DESEi+d 2025) held in Zamora, Spain, thanks to the participation of project partners Hilaturas Arnau Barcelona and AITEX.
The congress is a well-established national forum that brings together researchers, industry representatives, and institutional stakeholders working in the fields of defence and security innovation. The event provides a valuable platform for sharing research results, discussing technological developments, and fostering collaboration across the defence R&D ecosystem.
During the event, the UTILE project was introduced to the audience, presenting its objectives and ongoing activities aimed at developing technologies that support the recovery and reuse of Soldier Personal Equipment (SPE) used by the armed forces of EU Member States.
The congress offered an important opportunity to disseminate the project’s work and engage with experts and stakeholders on the potential of circular economy strategies to improve sustainability and resource efficiency within the defence sector.
