The Foundation for Development and Technological Innovation (FUNDITEC) is a private, not-for-profit technological center based in Madrid. It is dedicated to stimulating and fostering innovation and technological advancement as key drivers for the economic and social promotion of its clients.
ROLE IN UTILE PROJECT
FUNDITEC’s participation in the UTILE project involves its Advanced Materials and Cybersecurity R&D departments. Their activities focus on developing innovative technologies to facilitate the recyclability and reuse of materials used in the production of SPE items.
Moreover, FUNDITEC handles the design and synthesis of bio-based epoxy resins for aramid-fiber composites, which FECSA will use to manufacture military helmets. Finally, FUNDITEC is in charge of developing the blockchain infrastructure for traceability.
